DIABETES HELPFUL HINTS:
Every diabetic should read labels and keep count of the amount of
carbohydrates consumed. Carbohydrates are really what determine ones
blood sugar level, sugar is only one type of carbohydrate. If
carbohydrates can be kept down to around 50g per meal it will go a long
ways in controlling ones blood sugar level.
Meats and fats without anything added like flour, meal, sauces, or gravy
don’t contain carbohydrates. Leafy vegetables and others like green
beans, broccoli, cauliflower, and sweet peas average around 15g per 1/2
cup. It is the high starch carbohydrates like bread, pasta, and artificial
sweets that need to be very limited, Meats and Fats alone won’t drive
blood sugar level up, but fats will keep it up and make it very hard to get
That can be a problem for a diabetic. A diabetic should stay away from
fried foods except on special occasions. Avoiding too much starchy and
fried foods will help a diabetic more than anything else in my view. 95
percent of the strokes and the need for people to go on kidney dialysis
could be prevented if people had home testers and regularly monitored
their blood pressure and sugar levels.
VITAMIN B-6 HEALING:
My carpal tunnel & arthritis was making my life pure hell, now,
taking vitamin B-6 & B-complex allows me peace of mind. However,
I don’t ever take over 300mg daily because it may cause nerve problems.
Food contains enzymes, but most has been destroyed in processed foods
and microwave cooking. So, I keep on hand raw small chopped pieces of
cabbage, lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, sliced tomatoes or whatever fruit
or vegetable I like.
Then I add or mix in at least one half cup of raw food at each meal or just
make a salad with dressing. The more raw food one eats the less
indigestion problems one will have, but spicy and certain foods still
should be avoided. Also, fresh and frozen produce retains most of their
enzymes with traditionally cooking.
A SURE AND EASY WAY TO BANISH STRESS.
If anyone on your job or anywhere causes you a lot of stress, just repeat
this quote to yourself over and over as long as necessary, “I can wish all
people goodwill no matter how they treat me,” then the stress will
vanish. This is only a tool and not for every situation.
A GREAT PRAYER:
To my father who is in heaven I will strive to always serve you first. I will
strive to treat all people well as I would like to be treated. I will strive to
wish all people goodwill even when it is not returned. I will strive to
repeat this prayer twice a day for as long as I live. I thank you God for my
life, health, and strength and for what I do have here on earth.

Lord I have so much to be thankful for; I have a great family that loves

strength...This once beaten down pitiful little South Georgia country boy
has kept the faith and is still standing.
I take 50mg of Zinc daily, 160mg of Saw Palmetto twice daily, and
1000mg of Pumpkin Seed Oil daily.
FIRST ACCEPT YOURSELF:
Repeat over and over to yourself as long as necessary: “Thank you God

LESS STOMACH PROBLEMS:
To avoid indigestion and acid reflux I add in a small amount of raw
shredded cabbage with my food at each meal.
HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE:
Salt and sodium are the biggest factors in controlling high blood
pressure. I buy the gallon jugs of bottle water with 0 sodium. Also, I buy
the little squeeze bottles of fresh lemon juice and drink lemon water as
my main beverage, no sugar added for me. I believe some water is
loaded with sodium for the same reason as processed foods, be aware.
